TanSoBe offers only the best-performing Very High Reflector (VHR) tanning technology. For you, this translates into stronger output, shorter tan times and superior results - faster & better than ever!

TanSoBe's brand new SunCapsule X-7 stand-ups have fifty-four (1.9 meter) 220-watt VHR lamps - they are 76% more powerful than our original stand-ups with a superfast 7 minute session time. Our SunCapsule VHR units make it easy to tan certain hard-to-reach areas (such as under your arms) & eliminate pressure points that can occur from repetitive tanning in beds; however, for those individuals that prefer to control (or limit) the UV exposure to their face, you are unable to do that with stand-up units like you can with our SolarForce tanning beds - the alternative is to use an SPF lotion.
TanSoBe's SolarForce 648 beds have fast 12 minute exposure times. They feature forty-eight 160-watt VHR lamps plus four high-pressure facial lamps & eight quad-lamp shoulder tanners which are both user-controlled & can be turned off, for part or all of your tanning session, should you desire less UV rays on these body areas.
Low-Pressure VHR tanning lamps emit a mix of Ultraviolet A & B (UV-A/UV-B) light - the same sunlight you get while tanning outdoors (albeit with different intensities & percentages depending on how the FDA certifies each unit).
Ultraviolet-B, sometimes referred to as the 'burning' ray, stimulates melanin production in your skin. That melanin is then oxidized (turned dark) through exposure to UV-A light which ultimately produces a dark 'tanned' look. This tanning darkening process develops during the 24-hours after your session.
A good rule-of-thumb is, if you tan easily outdoors - you're going to tan easily indoors; if you don't, then obviously it will take longer to safely build a base tan (just as it would outdoors) & avoiding burning is always the most important aspect of tanning.
Prior to any UV tanning, TanSoBe will conduct a 'skin type' analysis to determine how best to safely achieve your tanning goals & select a tan time that mitigates the possibility of burning.
A major benefit to tanning indoors is that you are doing so in a controlled environment with FDA certified equipment that emits ultraviolet light at a constant output rate. Conversely, when tanning outdoors, the sun's intensity can vary greatly from day-to-day & even hour-to-hour (based on a number of factors like cloud cover & distance) which is why you might be able to layout for hours one day & be just fine while burning in mere minutes on others.
